Electronic Needle Positioning results from having an induction asynchronous motor with an electromagnetic brake - a clutch unit driven by an electronic control for the speed regulation and for the sewing-machine needle position setting. The electronic control is able to activate the most common electromagnetic devices that are part of an industrial sewing-machine (foot-lifter, thread wiper, and thread trimmer).
